Short break in the Rain

Moon descends,
 Harbored sails sleep,
Sun whispers

Blue heron,

Flying from where,

Landing here 

Crow vocalizations,
 Heard by none,
Except one

Stranded wreckage,
Waiting next winter tide,
Slip away

Dirty gulls,
Slip into communal bath,
Clean Saturday

Winter’s waters
Crashing cruel & harsh
Eternal serenity
