Micro Haiku

One Shot Wednesday - Poetry Week 29

Winter strawberry,

Grows overweight in garden,

Miniature pleasures

Darkened path,

Hand & hand walking,

Illuminating Us

Soaring hawk,

Causes us to seek shelter,

Brave tomorrow

So little rice,

 Much winter enduring,

 Summer love

This poem was written for One Shot Wednesday

Dolls in this Haiga are more than 60 years old; the strawberry was locally grown & magnificent.

I love Haiku and your image and words were so beautiful. Inspired me to write this one, using your words...

Pleasure, hand touching hand
Delights, summer love
Braving winter of memories
